A New Movie:

" Therese "

The Story of St. Therese of Lisieux

A wonderful new movie on St. Therese by Leonardo DeFilippis has been completed and is becoming available to movie theatres in the Fall.

It is a beautiful and powerful portayal of her life and spirituality. Secular theatre owners are not sure about whether Catholics will support a movie like this and therefore are reticent to book the film for showing.

Therefore, we need to show them. We need your help. If we can get several hundred thousand people to check into the movie's Web site at: www.theresemovie.com and register, it will be proof that Catholics support movies on a religious theme.

Please visit www.theresemovie.com and register, and get your friends to do the same!

Thank you,

Fr. Bob Colaresi, O.Carm.

Saint Therese's "little way" was to trust in Jesus to make her holy and to rely on small daily sacrifices.  If she didn't like someone, she smiled at them.  If the food was bad, she ate it without complaint.  It is this "little way" of sacrifice in daily living that people around the world stive to imitate.

Do you believe in praying to saints
 for intervention on your behalf?

Yes, I regularly pray to various
saints.
Yes, but I don't do it.
Maybe, I'm not sure.
No, I pray only to God himself.
I don't pray.
